Tropical Storm Beta

Beta is now nearly stationary and it staying at tropical storm status with 60 mph winds. It has been struggling thanks, once again, to dry air wrapping around from the western side. The upper shear is starting to relax a bit but is still present. It looks like the storm may not strengthen much more, and the NHC forecast no longer calls for it to become a hurricane. It could still become a stronger tropical storm before a possible landfall Monday or Tuesday north of Corpus Christi, TX.
